Curious About What’s Coming to Xbox on January 25

The first major gaming event of the year is scheduled (unless another one pops up in the meanwhile). The Xbox and Bethesda event will take place on January 25 at 3 PM ET. You may see it live on the Twitch and YouTube accounts of both companies.

The so-called Developer Direct will have presentations from developers from a wide range of companies, and it will focus on important features, gameplay, and further details for games coming to Xbox One, PC, and Game Pass in the near future. It’s not known if any more studios will be brought in.

More information about Forza Motorsport and how to play it will be provided by Turn 10 Studios, while Minecraft Legends’ player-against-player mode will be discussed. These two video games are scheduled for release in the spring of this year.

You can also look forward to improvements to Redfall’s combat, customization, monsters, and open environment, as well as additional opportunities to kill vampires in single and multiplayer modes. We’re hoping that, along with the announcements, we’ll also get concrete release dates for each of these titles.

The Elder Scrolls Online’s massive chapter upgrade for the year will also be demonstrated for your perusal. After the Developer Direct, Zenimax Online Studios will have an ESO Chapter Reveal Event to provide players with more information.

The Starfield dev team has said that they will not be showing off the game during the Developer Direct. For Xbox, the best way to “dedicate the necessary amount of time for a deep dive” into the game is to create a dedicated show. The highly anticipated space RPG from Bethesda is coming this summer.

Microsoft is hoping to make up for a very quiet 2022 in terms of first-party Xbox games by storming out of the gates this year.

The first half of 2023 will also see the release of many more titles on Game Pass, including Cocoon (from the creator of Limbo) and a little project called Hollow Knight: Silk song.
