Leaked Pixel Watch Photos Reveal Bands, Faces, and Fitbit Connectivity

Soon, Google will host its annual Pixel event, when it will unveil its new Pixel 7 smartphones and the first flagship wristwatch it developed in-house (outside of Fitbit, anyway). Some details regarding the Pixel Watch’s design and technical characteristics have leaked out.

This new leak has the potential to be the most significant one yet. It appears that a German Amazon page for the Pixel Watch went online ahead of schedule; the smartwatch is scheduled to go on sale on October 6 following a presentation by Google.

Leaker OnLeaks posted images and information on the Slashleaks forum (noticed by 9to5 Google), suggesting that there would be many band styles and colors available.

The photographs aren’t very good quality, but there appears to be a silicon pattern in black, grey, eggshell white, green, and silver, and a braided pattern in orange, green, and black. There appear to be two distinct leather patterns available.

Apart from that, you can see a few of the Pixel Watch faces in the pictures. One has an analog display that displays the wearer’s heart rate; others have stunning landscape graphics, and yet others display the time in words.

Pictures also show the Pixel Watch’s emergency call feature, electrocardiogram (ECG) readings, step counter, and Fast Pair compatibility with your smartphone.

The Amazon description also falsely said that buyers would be entitled to six months of free Fitbit Premium service. It is known that Fitbit offers this bonus to customers who purchase its smartwatches, but whether Google will do the same with the Pixel Watch remains to be seen.

The description also mentioned the Pixel Watch’s 5ATM water resistance, Corning Gorilla Glass display, and compatibility with the Google Home app. Also, the smartphone supposedly has a day’s worth of battery life and an Exynos 9110 chipset.

From what we can tell from the screenshots, the WiFi model of the Pixel Watch will set you back €356.79 (about $349) in Germany. The WiFi version was said to start around $350 in the US, while the cellular version was said to start at around $400.

No matter, on Thursday, we’ll learn further information about the smartwatch from an official source. Everything you need to know about the Pixel event, the Pixel Watch, and the Pixel 7 family of devices will be covered here.
