Since the Cyberpunk 2077 launch fiasco a few years ago, CD Projekt Red has been making a return of sorts. Fans of the Cyberpunk franchise are raving about the new anime series, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, which debuted on Netflix earlier this year.

Since its release, Cyberpunk 2077 has received a slew of free upgrades, the most recent of which being version 1.6, which features new content inspired by the anime. Since this version is also free, it’s safe to infer that the Cyberpunk 2077 launch has been forgotten, or at least nearly forgotten.
