Fanatec Lowers Podium Racing Wheel F1 Price—traxion

Racing Wheel F1: We’ve been dealing with the component shortage for some time now. It’s been over two years, and we’re still dealing with issues all along the production chain. Particularly hard hit by the scarcity has been the supply of Fanatec steering wheelbases, but with Black Friday fast approaching, Fanatec has shown its hand.

To start, I have some news to share. We have made significant progress as of late, and there is plenty to discuss, despite the delayed movement of our stated items due to supply chain restraints and component shortages.

Because of this radical shift in the ecosystem, we have the chance to significantly enhance the rapid release. While we and BMW are pleased with the QR design used on the M4 GT3 race vehicle, it has been a struggle to bring this design to mass production throughout our whole lineup of steering wheels and wheelbases (including a “Lite” version for our CSL Series).

We can now look forward to the brightest potential future for the Fanatec rapid release because of the extra time spent on development. The newest pre-production samples have been functioning really well, but we will not reveal the price or release date until they are fully ready.

Generation of Wheel Bases

Most of you have probably noticed that we’ve been “sold out” of certain wheelbases for quite some time. Due to the overwhelming response, we have had to temporarily halt manufacturing due to a lack of necessary materials.

Despite our best efforts, the semiconductor issue is still having a widespread impact on businesses, and I can confirm that the CSL DD will not be accessible again until the first quarter of 2023.

The chip scarcity has hampered progress in developing this wheel. The mechanical and structural design of this product has been field-tested at the Pikes Peak Hill Climb, however, we were disappointed with the display’s performance and used the extra time to re-engineer the electronics. It is currently anticipated that the wheel would be introduced in the first half of 2023.

Here comes the day’s finest news. Recent months have seen us obtain all Podium Racing Wheel F1 components despite supply difficulties, allowing us to run the production line at full speed.

Our entry-level bases will be in short supply until the new year, so we’ve decided to offer the Podium Racing Wheel F1 at a discount for a limited period. (We’d prefer to keep this pricing in place until the CSL DD comes back, but we anticipate a lot of interest, so let’s just say ‘while supplies last.)

The Podium Racing Wheel F1 is currently one of the best values in the sim racing industry thanks to the recent price decrease. At 20 Nm of torque, it offers the greatest power of any direct drive system for PS4 and PS5.

As an added bonus, it can be utilized with an Xbox console and an Xbox-licensed steering wheel from our shop, making it a fantastic option for PC gamers as well. I can guarantee that the Fanatec ecosystem will continue to support the Podium Racing Wheel F1 for the foreseeable future.

The Podium Racing Wheel F1 and the ClubSport Pedals V3 are now available in a new package deal. At this price, it’s clear that this is the best value beginning set we provide and the package that will make any vehicle appear as if it belongs in a race.

The Podium Racing wheel may not be as good as the CSL DD or GT DD Pro, but it’s the best we have right now, and it’s a fantastic opportunity for everyone who was thinking about upgrading.
