Emelia Hartford races a Ferrari 458 and a Lamborghini Huracan Evo against the latest generation of Corvettes, the C8 Z06, and humiliates both exotic supercars.
Emelia Hartford’s YouTube channel has bested Chevrolet’s official quarter-mile time for the 2023 Corvette Z06. She ran the C8 Z06 for 10.51 seconds at 130.11 miles per hour, establishing it as a formidable rival to any supercar.
At least, this is how it would seem on paper. On the other hand, the actual world is full of unexpected twists and turns. Emelia is determined to prove that the Z06 deserves its reputation as a “supercar killer,” so she races not one but two of Italy’s most powerful supercars.
Get Ready, Here Come the Supercars
Emelia tells us that she is beyond thrilled to be able to do anything she wants in this film with the Z06, courtesy of Chevy. Emelia takes the weight and gravity of the situation in stride, telling us that she is going to race her Corvette against her Ferrari 458, which she owns.
She cracks a grin and says she’s chosen at the last minute to bring a Lamborghini Huracan Evo as well.
On Paper, the Huracan Evo is the Best
Emelia starts us off by informing us that the Lamborghini costs $260,000, has a starting price of $340,000, and has a weight of 3,400 pounds. If you must choose among the three, the Lamborghini is the safest and most profitable choice.
And now she’s going to show you her $250,000 Ferrari 458, which weighs in at 3,200 pounds and has 570 horsepower, just after she shows you her $250,000 house.
The C8, which weighs in at a hefty 3,700 pounds but has the highest power at 670 horsepower, is the last and most pivotal vehicle in this episode. This configuration costs only $160,000, which is $100,000 less than the Evo’s base price.
The Lamborghini and the Ferrari Were Both Taken by Surprise
First up, Emelia wants to race her 458. The outcome of this election is clearly not in doubt. It takes the Corvette about two seconds less to complete the drag strip. Because of its superior power, the American vehicle can easily overcome the prancing horse in a rolling start. The Corvette, which is obviously quicker, is now competing against the frenzied bull.
Again, the Corvette’s dominance over the Lamborghini is surprising. The Ferrari and Lamborghini both end up 15 car lengths and 3 car lengths ahead of the Corvette when Emelia chooses to run a fair race for once. The Corvette just doesn’t have what it takes to win.
When Emelia finally comes up to the trio of automobiles, she decides to “slow down for the Lambo” so that she may snap a picture of all three in a row. As far as we’re concerned, you’ve just proven yourself the ultimate supercar killer.
