Samsung has officially started rolling out the One UI 7 update, based on Android 15, to a limited number of devices. The update first began reaching users on the Samsung Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition.
Users in the US will have to wait a couple of days before One UI 7 rollout starts
Despite the global rollout beginning, users in the United States have not yet received the update. However, the wait is expected to be short. According to a report from SamMobile, the One UI 7 update will begin reaching US users later this week, specifically starting April 10, as per Samsung’s earlier announcement regarding the stable launch timeline.
One UI 7 brings a redesigned UI, smoother performance, Galaxy AI improvements & more
This long-awaited update introduces a fresh user interface, improved system performance, and notable enhancements to Galaxy AI. It also incorporates all the key upgrades that come with Android 15. Samsung has included new smart features such as the Now Bar widget among other additions.
The update is substantial in size—over 5GB for those upgrading from the stable One UI 6 version, based on current update files.
In addition to the already supported devices, the One UI 7 rollout will expand later in April to include more models. These include the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Tab S10+ and S10 Ultra, as well as the Galaxy S23 series and the Galaxy S24 FE.
